Berlin December 3, 2024. Germany, Italy, and Austria – these three countries will host the new concert series “Worlds Sounds for Peace” in the coming year. Launching in 2025, this series seeks to forge new paths for connecting cultures, while sending a strong message of understanding and peace.
An international orchestra will blend classical, contemporary, and traditional musical styles, creating extraordinary and inspiring concert experiences. The first concert, currently in preparation, is planned for Vienna. In addition to these musical performances, “Worlds Sounds for Peace” includes impactful educational initiatives aimed at fostering intercultural dialogue and exchange.
This initiative is made possible through the collaboration of three non-profit organizations: Germany’s “Foundation for Education, Science, and Culture (EBWK),” Italy’s “Associazione Espressione d’Arte APS,” and Austria’s “Open Piano for Refugees.”
Pierluigi Ruggiero, the artistic director of the planned tour, remarked: “Our collaboration demonstrates how music, as a universal language, connects people worldwide and overcomes cultural barriers.” Beate Kesper, Chair of EBWK, echoed this sentiment: “The planned tour combines cultural diversity, artistic excellence, and social responsibility – a powerful message for peace and understanding.”
