Pierluigi Ruggiero is a celebrated cellist, composer, and internationally acclaimed artist. His musical journey began at the Conservatory in L’Aquila, where he studied cello and composition with distinction. After earning his diploma in Rome under the guidance of George Schultis in 1995, he further honed his craft through masterclasses with world-renowned musicians, including Ivan Monighetti and Thomas Demenga. In 1996, he achieved first prize at the prestigious international chamber music competition “Città di Acqui Terme,” and in 2001, he became the sole Italian artist invited to the esteemed Liszt Academy in Budapest. Since then, Ruggiero has performed in some of the world’s most prominent concert halls and collaborated as a soloist with orchestras across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
In 2007, Ruggiero was honored by the Hungarian ARTISJUS Foundation for his outstanding contributions to cultural exchange. As the founder and artistic director of Espressione d’Arte APS and ensembles such as I Bricconcello and Trio Concertando, he has spearheaded numerous international projects and curated festivals like “Il Gusto dell’Arte,” enriching the global arts scene.
Ruggiero’s discography includes critically acclaimed recordings, such as world premieres of compositions by Luigi Denza and Alfredo Piatti, released under Hungaroton Classic. Between 2016 and 2022, he also served as the artistic director for the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Rome, further showcasing his dedication to fostering cultural diplomacy.
With Beate Mewes, one is immediately fascinated by the precision of her intuition when it comes to the direct connection between people, voice, and personality. Whether in singing lessons, speech training, or coaching, her passion is always dedicated to the holistic and sustainable development and empowerment of each individual personality:
The most comprehensible aspect of language is not the word itself, but the tone, strength, modulation, and tempo with which a sequence of words is spoken; in short, the music behind the words, the passion behind this music, the person behind this passion: all that, in other words, which cannot be written."
Originally from the world of numbers, she has been working as an accounting clerk in a shared service center since 2008. She discovered her joy in training new colleagues, finding great satisfaction in teaching, supporting, and guiding others in their professional growth. Over time, her focus gradually expanded beyond traditional accounting, leading her to embrace coaching. After completing further training, she began working part-time in various fields centered around people: as an aqua fitness instructor, dance and movement therapist, lecturer, and teamwork coach.
"Movement in a person’s life—whether external through physical activity or, most importantly, internal through personal development—is, to me, a wonderful way for people to express and evolve themselves."
